Mediation
Anger, fear,
tension, confusion: such negative emotions generate conflicts and hamper negotiation
processes. They often flare up - and can force us to reexamine our own
orientation.
But even when
the opposing fronts seem irreconcilable:
conflict partners
can still find solutions that do justice to all by entering into constructive
discussions and hearing the views and opinions of all sides.
Sharing
oneself with others is just as important as mutual listening. As a mediator, I'm
on everyone's side. My responsibility is to facilitate, to help identify the
true points of conflict. No one loses in a constructive give-and-take, because everyone
comes out a winner.
Its about looking on all different aspects, being open, honest and creative.
